Concert Review Links: La Serenissima in Perth, Tafelmusik in Calgary, and Baroque Band in Chicago

A few concert reviews of note.

  • Perth, Scotland: The ensemble La Serenissima (Adrian Chandler, dir.) gave an all-Vivaldi concert at Perth Concert Hall, which included the modern premiere of a recently discovered concerto for flute.
  • Calgary, Canada: Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra (Jean Lamon, dir.) presented music by Jean-Baptiste Lully, Johann Friedrich Fasch, Antonio Vivaldi, C.P.E Bach, and Antoine Dauvergne, at the University of Calgary.
  • Chicago: The Baroque Band (Garry Clarke, dir.) delivered a program of composers from the English Restoration.
