United States: Musica Pacifica (Judith Linsenberg, recorder, Elizabeth Blumenstock, violin, Debra Nagy, oboe, David Morris, cello and viola da gamba, and Charles Sherman, harpsichord).

Described by the press as “some of the finest baroque musicians in America” (American Record Guide) and “among the best in the world” (Alte Musik Aktuell), Musica Pacifica performs 17th- and 18th-century music on varying combinations of recorder, oboe, violin, cello/gamba, harpsichord, and percussion. The artists perform with Philharmonia Baroque and American Bach Soloists, and also appear with prominent early music ensembles nationally and abroad.

France: Il Seminario Musicale (Gerard Lesne, dir.).

…founded in 1985 by Gerard Lesne…Il Seminario Musicale is today renowned [as] one of the leading French ensembles in baroque musique.

Since its creation, Il Seminario Musicale [has been made up of] first rank European musicians : Fabio Bondi, Bruno Cocset, Florence Malgoire, Benjamin Perrot, Florence Bolton, Anne-Marie Lasla, Stéphanie Paulet or Violaine Cochard…

Its repertoire is mainly defined by French, Italian, German and English composers’ works, from Monteverdi to Vivaldi and Pergolesi, from Charpentier to Couperin, including Dowland, Purcell [and] Bach.
