For Les Art Florissants, the current concert season (2009-2010) is number thirty. In order to celebrate the milestone, they’ve initiated a new multimedia website called Arts Flo Media.

And, let me tell you, it is a feast for the eyes and ears that will surely please the ensemble’s many fans.

Accessible in both French and English, the site includes an impressive archive:

  • Concerts and Performances: listing, by year (since 1979).
  • Scores: upwards of one-hundred scores from operas and oratorios, as well as orchestral music (viewable but not downloadable).
  • Texts: feature articles, concert reviews, and translations.
  • Sound Archive: detailed information on the many recording produced with sound samples.
  • Video Library: interviews with William Christie, film/documentaries, and performances.
  • Photos: William Christie, musicians, performances, and rehearsals.
