House, Hooker, and Hurdy-Gurdy

If you live in the United States, you will undoubtedly be familiar with the television series “House,” a popular medical drama known for its eccentric main character, Dr. Gregory House, played by Hugh Laurie.

Anyone who has a watched the show even somewhat faithfully will tell you that it often exhibits an unusual sense of humor.

With that thought, here’s a scene created around the (alleged) saying “as tough to find as a hooker who can play the hurdy-gurdy.”

A bit of trivia: the actress playing the hurdy-gurdy, Noelle Bellinghausen, was merely miming. She was taught to do so by harpsichord builder and hurdy-gurdy player Curtis Berak.
