  • Past and Future: The Fondazione Giorgio Cini has made available a special online publication entitled Antonio Vivaldi: Passato e Futuro, a collection of papers by a group of renowned Vivaldi scholars. The entire book can be downloaded at no cost. (more…)
  • Hampshire, England: The former Tudor palace known as The Vyne will soon be transformed. Inspired by the palace’s 18th-century owner, John Chute, the National Trust has hired leading designer Mark Brazier-Jones to imagine that “Chute has returned and commissioned over thirty new pieces…for his home.” (more…)
  • Drawn to music: Have you ever wanted to build your own early instrument? Well, in order to begin, you’re going to need a technical drawing. In co-operation with CIMCIM, the Hague Gemeentemuseum has put together a list of “technical drawings of musical instruments in public collections of the world.” (more…)
