A few early music links of note.
- Plays well with others: The Metropolitan Opera orchestra welcomes William Christie, director of Les Arts Florissants, for a production of Mozart’s Così fan tutte.
- Going Baroque in Taiwan: Handel’s Messiah will soon be heard in its entirety in Taiwan (a first). In late November, the Dresdner Kreuzchor and the Dresdner Philharmonie will begin a tour in the city of Taipei.
- First Edition Mozart: In a continuing effort by Harvard University’s Loeb Music Library to digitize manuscripts from its collection, three first edition Mozart works are added to the list.
