Early music links of note. (Click on news organization to read more.)

  • Teacher’s energy brings sweet music to school (Charlotte Observer): Two musicians from the Charlotte Symphony (North Carolina) use Handel to teach elementary school children.
  • Lutenist Paul O’Dette gives long-anticipated concert (Democrat and Chronicle): A renowned American lutenist makes a rare Rochester concert appearance.
  • Baroque music space to open in St. Paul’s Lowertown neighborhood (Twin Cities): Local musicians received funds to open a performance space dedicated to Baroque music in St. Paul, Minnesota. Fittingly, it’s called the “Baroque Room.”
