More Links: Blue Heron in Residence, ‘Dinastia Borgia,’ and Classical Music Haters
A few early music links of note.
- Artists-In-Residence: The Blue Heron Renaissance Choir (Scott Metcalf, dir.) is now a resident ensemble at Boston College.
- Borgias Uncovered: Jordi Savall releases “Dinastia Borgia,” including three CDs, a DVD, and substantial accompanying liner notes on the history of the House of Borgia.
- Attracting Younger Audiences: The Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment has had noticeable success in drawing younger audiences thanks to their Night Shift concerts, bucking a trend by young people aged 24-36 who apparently hate classical music.
