Last summer I was made an Associate Researcher of the National History Institute of Nicaragua and Central America (IHNCA-UCA), located in Managua. With this newly-minted title I continued my guest lectures at the institute this month (Dec. 4-6) on various topics relating to the history of music in Nicaragua.

Here are the title images I designed for each lecture.

“Eastern Romance by Luis Abraham Delgadillo”

Gordillo - Romance Oriental

“Duke Ellington in Nicaragua”

Gordillo - Ellington

“Early History of the Nicaraguan Folk Mass”

Gordillo - Misa
