The following is my first documentary short film produced at the end of last year. It recounts the tragic story of the Managua earthquake of 1931, the death and controversy surrounding a young woman by the name of Mariíta Huezo, and a musical composition for flute and piano dedicated to her by Nicaraguan composer Luis Abraham Delgadillo, a work which has come to memorialize the earthquake and the deceased. The film is in Spanish with English subtitles.
