Postcards from the Rose Ensemble

The Minneapolis-based Rose Ensemble (pictured) is currently on tour with the program Il Poverello, music from the 12th-16th Centuries inspired by St. Francis of Assisi.

In addition to the various cities and venues the ensemble visits, director Jordan Sramek is producing audio postcards of his and ensemble members’ reflections throughout the tour (courtesy of Minnesota Public Radio).

The mood is relaxed and informal, and you feel as if you’re in the “room” with him.
