Stile Antico Performs Tallis and Tomkins in Pittsburgh
Currently on a tour of the United States, the dynamic British vocal ensemble Stile Antico is giving American audiences a special take on music of the Renaissance.
Listen to the ensemble in concert on the Renaissance & Baroque series in Pittsburgh, recorded live by WQED fm89.3 (Pittsburgh, PA), with special permission from Harmonia Mundi. The ensemble in is fine form and gives a sublime performance. (I had friends attend their Cincinnati concert and gave it all-around high marks.)
LISTEN: “O come in one to praise the Lord” by Thomas Tallis and “O praise the Lord” by Thomas Tomkins.
