The Philmarmonia Baroque Machine by Todd Berman

Along the lines of a recent post, here’s another work of art inspired by a baroque orchestra.

San Francisco-based artist Todd Berman, “who travels the world and his local community, sketchbook in hand,” captured a performance by the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra in his own unique way.

It’s a beautiful and striking collage that includes “a large round wind sound machine.” (No doubt, they must have been performing Purcell or Rameau.)
