Until March 15th, you can listen to the latest (soon-to-be-released) recording by the Oslo-based ensemble Trio Mediaeval.

Entitled “A Worcester Ladymass,” a 13th-century votive mass for the Virgin Mary, the entire work can be heard for free thanks to NPR.

The recording also contains a couple of modern additions. The original mass is missing its Credo, so English composer Gavin Bryars wrote one along with a Benedicamus Domino.

The ensemble’s new release continues their long-standing and successful relationship with ECM Records.

Trio Mediaeval’s members are Anna Maria Friman, Linn Andrea Fuglseth, and Torunn Østrem Ossum.
